I’m obsessed with this bread! This recipe worked so well that I posted the photo on the Instagram Without the recipe, just to share my excitement. Like most of the recipes I make, this sweet potato bread has few ingredients and doesn’t require much agility in the kitchen.

You will only have the trouble of cooking the potatoes to make the puree, then just mix everything in a blender or food processor and take it to the oven. Repeating: there are only 6 ingredients and easy to make, so roll up your sleeves and try this recipe because easy and healthy bread is equal to gold!

I love making bread at home, you can see that I have several recipes here on the blog. I am the first to encourage people to venture into the kitchen. I see this as a smart and pleasurable way to take care of yourself and take care of those around you.

PAO DE BATATA DOCE C CREAM CHEESEI know that making bread can seem like something very complicated and a lot of people feel intimidated and don’t even want to risk a recipe. I already thought so. I went through blogs and saw those wonderful breads and thought: I don’t have the time or the ability to make these breads.

How many things do we fail to do because we think we are not capable? several. Or because we are very busy, we have no time for absolutely nothing, right? Well, actually we all have the same amount of time, what we have different are priorities.

Many people think that my profession is to make recipes and the blog. But I’m another person who works 8 to 10 hours a day and cooks, as well as eating this blog, is a hobby for me. The blog was a way I found to inspire myself to discover new things and at the same time inspire anyone who is passing through here. So we are together in this real life and running.

This last Saturday I participated in a brilliant cooking course and I learned to do thousands of things that, once again, I found unfeasible to do at home: kombucha, cheeses with probiotics and based on oilseeds, fermented vegetables, etc. Now my house looks like a biology lab, I have a daughter who is actually a \”mushroom\” from Kombucha, who is fermenting in a tea to make the famous drink rich in probiotics! I’m super excited about this new fermented eating practice!

PAO DE BATATA DOCE SEM GLUTENBeing healthy doesn’t mean eating 100% organic, becoming a vegan, being a gym rat, eating 100% food made with your own hands or not eating carbohydrates. be healthy it’s a way to discover and accept the need to adapt to the changes of your body, whether for your lifestyle or physiological needs.

Let’s stop boycotting our own thoughts and goals and think in a more realistic way: any small positive change is a big step that can open up more opportunities for you to feel good, even outside your comfort zone.

Yes, it’s that old chat: we’re going to eat more vegetables, more vegetables, less industrialized products and of animal origin (or at least support the production and consumption of local producers with treatment worthy of animals). Let’s be more aware and choose better what we put in our \”system\” and think about the why of our choices. Whether to feel happier, to alleviate a horrible day of work, feel more willing, or even by the simple intuition of eating! What makes you choose what you’re going to eat? Have you ever thought about it?

I believe a lot in rescuing old habits, because I think we are losing a lot of connection to their own bodies and people in general. Everything has become very virtual and artificial, both the food and the relationships. Therefore, I encourage everyone who works with me to rescue contact with food and the search for activities that bring us back to our essence.

I hope that, like me, you also want to have mornings flavored by this wonderful bread, taste every bite, with something made by you. recipe:

INGREDIENTES:

  • 400g of mashed sweet potato or Japanese pumpkin
  • 4 eggs (prefer organic eggs, redneck)
  • 300g almond flour
  • 50g melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp of sea salt (I used sea salt mixed with dried herbs)
  • 1 tsp yeast (using yeast without aluminum)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 F or 160C
  2. In a bread pan put parchment paper or grease it with coconut oil (I use parchment paper for all my recipes, almost never greased)
  3. In a food processor or blender, place the puree of boiled potatoes, eggs and coconut oil until creamy. Add the mixture to a bowl and mix the remaining ingredients (almond flour, salt and yeast last), mixing well with a wooden spoon.
  4. Let it bake in the oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool for 1 hour before slicing.

Extras:

  • How to store: Unlike industrialized breads, this bread does not contain preservatives, so it won’t last long outside the fridge. Leave it in the fridge for 1 week or freeze the slices and use a toaster to serve it warm!
  • Other suggestions: It looks wonderful with butter, goat cheese, jellies and accompanying a scrambled egg! Enjoy!
