Coconut and Almond Bread

english version? Click here!

The comfort that it brings to eat a roll is impressive, especially when it is made with healthy, fresh ingredients and without any conversational or chemical additive! Over time, we realize that it is super possible to keep the foods that bring us pleasure in our food routine, that everything is a matter of knowing how to choose the best ingredients according to each person’s individual characteristics (level of physical activity, biotype, goals and current health).

To prepare this bread, I chose some ingredients with a low carbohydrate content, but as I always say: carbohydrates are not villains, on the contrary! They should be present in most of our meals, which I suggest to my customers, in addition to the portions, is that they opt for full options, with little processing.

Homemade breads, free of preservatives or those additives that we cannot always pronounce the name, need to receive special attention when storing. They have a short shelf life if kept at room temperature. The solution I found that works super well is to keep the bread frozen. A little secret that I use and that makes it much easier is to slice the bread before freezing. Then just put it in the toaster and that’s it, they’re delicious!

Optional: The seeds can be included in the dough or placed on top of the bread before being baked.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F or 180C
  2. Leave the ready-made bread mold greased with oil or parchment paper
  3. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients.
  4. In another bowl combine the wet ingredients (eggs, honey, oil and vinegar)
  5. Combine both mixtures until you get a homogeneous mass.
  6. Transfer to bread form (don’t take too long in this process to prevent the dough from drying out)

Low Carb Bread (Coconut & Almond)

who doesnt like bread? Well,  I love them. This recipe is high in proteins and fats, but poor in carbs and has a great flavor! Most of the breads that we buy at Grocery Shops unfortunately are not filled with good ingredients, so making our own bread can be a good and fun option for our mental and Physical Health! I hope you guys enjoy it!
