Recipe
I don’t recommend using canned or cooked chickpeas, the consistency is different! It works, but it doesn’t get so crunchy! So plan and one day before making it, soak the chickpeas in the water.
Ingredientes:
- 250 grams of raw chickpeas (soak 24hrs before and dry)
- 1 chopped chives
- 1 tablespoon or to taste of garlic powder
- 1 cups fresh coriander, parsley or mint leaves, or a mixture of three
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
- Blend all the ingredients in a food processor.
- Set aside for about 30 minutes to join.
- With a scoop or a tablespoon, make the balls and bake in a preheated oven at 180C or 350F for 30 minutes.
- Serve with hummus or tahini sauce!

- 250g Raw Chickpeas (let it soak for 24h and drain it before using)
- 1 handful chopped chives
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Cup Fresh Coriander, Parsely or Mint or a Mix of Them.
- 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
- 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 3/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
instructions:
- add all the ingredients to a food processor and mix to combine.
- Let it sit for 30 minutes. Preheat Oven to 350F or 180C Degrees.
- Scoop the dough and lay it on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes.
- Serves with hummus or tahini paste.
