nutritional density

Conventional industrialized sweets are usually full of sugars and ingredients that do not exist in nature, such as artificial dyes, stabilizers and I don’t know how many \”before\”, all perfect to cause inflammation and allergies in your body. Therefore, I always encourage you to make sweets at home or buy more homemade versions with real ingredients! Just read the ingredients list!
Like most of the recipes I make, I try to use ingredients from my daily life that have a lot of nutritional density, such as almonds, cashew nuts, the powerful cocoa, dates and coconut oil. A mix of good fats, which help to balance the sugar in dates and add more nutritional value to the recipe!

Sweet as dates…

Then you can ask me: but aren’t dates rich in sugar? Yes, they are rich in sugar, but unlike white sugar or any refined sweets, it carries important nutrients and fibers with it, that is, it is not an empty sugar. To convince you better, see the main minerals we find in the dates:
Potassium (Important for body fluid balance, prevents high blood pressure, ideal for athletes looking to replenish carbohydrates and minerals lost in sweat) // magnesium: My favorite mineral controls thousands of reactions in the body, can prevent tpm, high blood pressure, heart diseases, osteoporosis and much more // copper: Very important helper of iron to form red cells in the blood and ensure protection of nerves and connective tissue.
You will need a food processor or a blender, a small square shape (20x20x5cm or 8×8 in) and the following ingredients. With a blender it gets more difficult because you will have to turn it off several times and help with a spoon, but super rolls! With the food processor, it’s quick.

Raw Brownie & Cookies BarImagine the no-baking bar with the first layer of brownie and the second layer of cookies. YAS!! but as oposed to the conventional brownies and cookies, this recipe has only high quality ingredients and can be part of your daily routine, if desired.

These bars don’t have the same texture as cooked brownies obviously (specially because they are suposed to be eaten raw), but they are incredible tasty and super decent!
