What to do when we love cookies and brownies? We put everything together in one recipe! The combination was to eat on your knees, test the recipe and count!
The big secret of a healthy diet is in the selection of ingredients, flexibility and learning to honor with signs that your body sends you! Never in deprivation or radicalism! Unfortunately, nowadays we are bombarded with all types of industrialized foods possible, which are mostly rich in sugars, dyes, additives..etc! The problem with this is that our taste buds get used to it and we always feel that desire for a sweetie or a specific food.
But what I mean is: there must always be a place for the foods you like, even if you think it’s not so nutritious. And my idea with this post is to share an amazing and tasty recipe! Share with friends and family, because they will not forget!
Now let’s go to the recipe?
Recipe
Ingredientes:
- 2 eggs preferably organic (not tested with flax egg)
- 3/4 cup coconut sugar (in this recipe I don’t recommend honey or maple syrup, need the most grainy texture)
- 150g dark chocolate (I used 85% cocoa, but use whatever you prefer)
- 2 tablespoons of liquid coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup coconut or ghee flour
- 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
- 2 teaspoons of yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350F and prepare a large baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the eggs well with the coconut sugar. Use a hand mixer or spatula for 2 or 3 minutes. The sugar will dissolve, scrape the sides of the bowl well.
- In a microwave-safe container, combine chocolate and coconut oil. Put 30 second time intervals and mix well. Repeat the procedure until the chocolate has melted..
- Add the vanilla extract to the chocolate and transfer the mixture to the large bowl with the sugar and egg mixture. Mix well for approximately 2 minutes.
- Add the cocoa powder, coconut flour and yeast and mix well. The mixture will be very thick, looking like a brownie dough texture or frosting.
- With the help of a spoon, make the cookies on the baking sheet. As a measure, consider 2 tablespoons per cookie and leave a 5 cm space between cookies, they will spread when baking.
- Sprinkle sea salt on top of cookies and bake for 10-12 minutes!
- Let the cookies cool for a few minutes and enjoy!
* Store cookies in a sealed container for up to 5 days or in the freezer for two months.
